Public Lecture – Prof. Jacek Radwan
Monday, 12 January
3:15 PM – 4:15 PM
Lecture Hall C107
We warmly invite to an open lecture titled Coevolution of Borrelia afzelii infectivity genes and its rodent host immunity genes, delivered by Prof. Jacek Radwan.
Professor Radwan is an evolutionary biologist from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, whose research focuses on immunology in the context of host–parasite coevolution. For the 2025/2026 academic year, he holds the Prof. Wacław Szybalski Chair.
The lecture will offer an excellent opportunity to learn about recent advances in understanding the evolutionary dynamics between Borrelia bacteria and the immune systems of their rodent hosts.
